Janet A. Wentzel, age 83 of Kennett Square, PA, passed away on March 12, 2009 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA. She was the wife of the late John G. Wentzel, who passed away in 1990 and with whom she shared 40 years of marriage.
Born in Pequea, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Meda Wilhelm Dunn.
A homemaker, Mrs. Wentzel enjoyed watching the Phillies and Flyers on TV, cats, reading, listening to wind chimes, and being with her family.
She is survived by three sons: Roger Wentzel of Kennett Square, PA, Larry J. Wentzel and his wife Peggy of Lincoln University, PA, and Donald Wentzel of Kennett Square, PA; a daughter: Patricia McElheny and her husband Terry of Newport, PA; one granddaughter, Charlene Chandler, and two great granddaughters, Kaelin and Madison Chandler.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two grandchildren, Christopher and Kimberly Wentzel.
